A must-see in Anjou, the Bioparc is the only cave zoo in the world! More than 1,300 animals have found an exceptional natural setting here, dedicated to the protection of endangered species. Cut into the rock, the tunnels will take you from one world to another. A journey rich in emotion in a veritable mineral and plant labyrinth.
The watchword at the Doué la Fontaine Biopark is respect: respect for the animals they care for and protect, but also respect for the environment in which they are located by acting in an eco-responsible way.
A visit to the Bioparc is a great way to get a change of scenery, with the Loire by bike just a short distance away!

Most of the park is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Option to eat in the restaurant or snack bar inside the park
Picnicking is not permitted in the park, but you can go outside to enjoy the picnic area nearby before returning.
Pets are not allowed inside the Biopark.

Parking available at the entrance to the Doué la Fontaine Biopark. Shaded and free, with over 500 spaces.

Open daily from 4 February to 12 November and from 17 to 31 December.
February to March: 10am > 6pm
April to June: 9am > 7pm
July to August: 9am > 7.30pm
September: 9am > 7pm
October to November: 10am > 6.30pm (5.30pm winter time)
17 to 31 December (except 25 December): 11am > 4pm
Last admission 2 hours before closing time.
