Description
Château d'Azay-le-Rideau
The ticket includes
 Priority access to the castle
 Visit of the castle
 Visit of the park

Built during the reign of François I by Gilles Berthelot, the king's financier, the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau is a subtle blend of French traditions and innovative decoration from Italy. It became an icon of the new art of building in the Loire Valley in the 16th century, and is now considered one of the jewels of early French Renaissance architecture.
Although its two wings were built in the early years of the 16th century, it was in the 19th century that the château took on the form we know today. As such, Azay-le-Rideau should be appreciated both as an architectural jewel of the 16th century and as a representative example of 19th-century taste for Renaissance art. It was also during this period that the landscaped park that surrounds it today was designed as a veritable showcase of greenery.

Château de Villandry
The ticket includes
 Visit of the castle
 Visit of the gardens

The Château de Villandry is located in western Touraine. It is the last château on the Loire to have been rebuilt. The interiors of the Château de Villandry are remarkable for the quality of their furnishings, the multitude of paintings and the refinement of their period decoration. But what really makes this château a must-see are its French-style gardens, which have been completely restored, and which are the source of the site's reputation today. Meticulously tended, with a focus on sustainable development and rational management to limit the use of chemicals and allow the plants to reveal all their natural beauty. Close to where the Cher and Loire rivers meet, Villandry promises some wonderful surprises.

Château de Langeais
The ticket includes
 Priority access to the castle
 Visit of the castle
 Visit of the gardens

The Château de Langeais is well worth a visit, even if it is far less well-known than its counterparts in the Loire Valley. With its two radically different facades - one medieval, with austere walls and a drawbridge, the other much more refined, with elaborate walls - the Château de Langeais promises some wonderful surprises. The interior of the château is more medieval, a change from the Renaissance dwellings of the region, and reveals a new aspect of French history, including the (rather brief) marriage between King Charles VIII and the Duchess Anne of Brittany. In the gardens, you'll find the remains of the 1,000-year-old keep!
